Playoff Technologies announces the release of its new Sponsor Locker Event Check-In App for iPad

 

The iOS solution for iPad enables Sponsors, Sports Marketing Agencies and Properties to easily check-in and track attendees they are hosting at sporting events.

 

The app is available on the App Store under the key words "Sponsor Locker" and requires a Sponsor Locker account for set up and use.

 

The app can be used for both attended and self check-in activities.

 

In attended mode, the app allows event hosts to use iPads to check-in attendees upon arrival by scanning event tickets, entering ticket numbers or entering attendee information such as first name, last name and email address. 

 

In self-check-in mode, an iPad can be set up in an unattended stand (in a suite, for example), where attendees can scan their own tickets or enter other requested information upon arrival.

 

In both modes, event updates and personal messages for individual guests can be created and set to appear to attendees upon completion of check-in.

 

The app can also require a guest to review and sign a waiver as part of the check-in process. Execution is geo-coded and date-time stamped. Signed waivers are saved and uploaded to the Sponsor Locker database for storage.

 

Event hosts can use the app to see a status report of who has checked-in and who has yet to arrive. 

 

Sponsor Locker users access the web-app (desktop) version of Sponsor Locker to design the look and feel of the app and set the event check-in activities that can be managed by the app. Among other set up choices, users can add content and company logos, customize color schemes, create required fields and add event updates and notifications.  The app can support multiple check-in activities at different events.

 

The iPad app automatically syncs with the Sponsor Locker cloud database and with any other iPads that have been set for use at the same check-in activity, assuring that real-time information appears on the iPad app and on the web-app (desktop) version of Sponsor Locker available to other users. Because data collected on the iPad app is sync'd to the Sponsor Locker cloud database, Sponsor Locker users can employ the full range of Sponsor Locker's web-app event and guest management tools to track and communicate with guests both during and after an event and produce post-event attendance reports and charts. 

 

If the Internet connection at the sports venue where the event is located is interrupted, the iPad App will temporarily switch to "offline" mode, assuring that the app can continue to be used to check-in guests without delay. As soon as an internet connection is reestablished, all check-in data will sync back to the Sponsor Locker cloud database.
